Drilling rig BU-20-2USM

The drilling rig BU-20-2USHM is designed for drilling wells with a depth of up to 200 m and a diameter of up to 400 mm (drilling diameter can be increased on request) from an open surface in loose and bedrock. They performed well when drilling exploration and water intake wells in frozen and thawed alluvial deposits, in permafrost soils with and without casing. It is also used for drilling blast wells in quarries.
Operation at ambient temperature from +40 ° C to -40 ° C and relative humidity of 90%. BU-20-2USHM is a reliable, unpretentious machine that is used by many gold mining enterprises for the exploration of placers of gold.

From the engine, through a V-belt transmission with pulleys and a friction clutch, the main shaft of the machine is rotated, on which four gears are fixed with friction conical clutches.
Through the running gears and the corresponding chain gears, the driving sprockets are set in motion, with the help of which the machine moves. The gear, switched on by means of a friction clutch, rotates the shaft of the tool drum through the gear. It stops with a belt brake. Through the slotting gear drives the crank mechanism of the impact device. There is a pulley on the main shaft, which can come into contact with the pulley of the chute drum, causing it to rotate. The drum stops with the brake pad. There is a special mechanism with a worm gear for screwing and unscrewing drill pipes, and a manual winch for lifting and lowering pipes.
The scope of delivery of the drilling rig BU-20-2USH includes: a drilling rig assembly with an electric motor and a mast, a set of keys for maintenance, a guide device. The instrument is supplied by nomenclature and quantity in agreement with the customer.
The BU-20-2USHM machine was produced by the Orotukan Mining Equipment Plant (Magadan region) until 2005. At the moment, OrMag LLC is the only manufacturer of original spare parts for the BU-20-2USHM machine.
