Scraper installations
Scraper installations include a scraper winch, a scraper, head and tail ropes, end and support blocks.
The principle of operation:
During operation, the scraper performs periodic reciprocating movements: the empty scraper moves towards the face with the help of a tail rope, from the face - with the help of a head rope. Penetrating into the loosened rock mass, the scraper is self-loaded and delivers it by dragging through the soil of the treatment or preparatory workings to the place of unloading.
Box-type scrapers are used for transporting small- and medium-sized cargo of low strength, mainly non-rock rocks. The box scraper consists of a back wall with a cutting blade and two side walls, thanks to which smaller losses of the delivered rock mass are achieved compared to the comb scraper. However, due to the presence of side walls, a good introduction of the box scraper is ensured only in the loosened small-lump rock mass. The advantages of box scrapers are the combination of the processes of loading and transporting cargo, its movement in horizontal and inclined up and down directions, reliability of operation in difficult conditions, simple change in the delivery range, low cost, ease of installation. With the help of box scrapers, the following auxiliary work can additionally be performed: - transportation of piece cargoes to the bottom: support elements, materials, equipment; - construction of temporary or permanent support in the development (box and accumulating type scrapers are used as a footrest).
A tunneling scraper, including a drawbar, a stroke with a mounting unit for the manipulator of a drilling machine, in order to increase the efficiency of small-section workings, the stroke is made in the form of a plate with support shoes.
